Shimmer Lights Permanent Cream Toners are best used after lightening hair to a yellow blonde, or to refresh existing blonde hair. This toner can also be used on natural grey hair to gloss or tone.

USAGE

This toner must be mixed with developer - the matching Shimmer Lights Developer is recommended. Use 10 Vol Cream Developer for gentle lift, or 20 Vol Cream Developer for standard lift. 20 Vol Developer can slightly lighten natural hair at the roots, which can result in an unwanted warm shade. Use 10 Vol Developer if this is a concern.

Mix your toner with developer in a 1:2 ratio. This means you need twice the amount of developer to toner. 

Apply to towel dried hair, focusing on the areas that need the most toning. Process for 15-30 minutes, checking every 5 minutes. Once your desired tone is reached, rinse, shampoo and condition.
