This colour must be mixed with developer - the dedicated Wella Color Charm 20 Vol Developer is recommended.
Always mix Wella Color Charm Permanent Hair Colour in a 1:2 mixing ratio. This means you need twice the amount of developer to colour.
One 107ml bottle of Developer is enough for one bottle of 42ml Permanent Colour.
Apply the Permanent Colour to dry hair and allow to develop for 30 minutes or up to 45 minutes for additional depth or grey coverage.
This was my first use of product: Wella Colour Charm Permanent - 10A/1030 Palest Ash Blonde, even though I have used the toners and developers previous from tint dept. My hair is always coloured by my hairdresser but after being in lockdown for the past 6 weeks, I cried every time looking at my roots. Thank god for this product as it is so easy to use by following the instructions. The smell is not too overwhelming and did not irritate my scalp (as the regular hairdressers products do). The outcome is perfect, I have no idea how, as I am a non-professional hair stylist but it honestly comes out looking like I've been at the hairdressers. I always have to follow up my hair dressers colour with a toner to remove the brassiness but only after using this one product, it looks great. My hair feels soft and looks shiny and clean. I also like how it sold in small quantities so that you can trial different tones without the need of buying in bulk. However, now that I know the developer works wonderfully, I have now bought the larger container. Make sure you buy enough developer. My hair is very very thick and long. The 42mls along with 84mls of developer does about 2/3rds of my roots.
As someone that colours my hair crazy colours often, i use this to tone after a bleach between each colour change. It mutes most colours ( minus blues and greens) making it the most neutral tone for my hair and perfect for my completion. I have found the T range toners dont do anything for my level 10 hair with such undertones and found that a permanent colour worked better instead. It is definitely my new go to for the intermissons.
I bleached my hair a pale brassy yellow and this toned it completely to a very silvery blonde. A week later it has faded a little but is still very silver. This product didn't darken my hair at all which is great, its still very light. I used 20 vol with this. The scent is very very strong and made my throat sore and I could barely breathe, that is the one downside. I would still use it again though as Wella works so well on stubborn brassiness.
I also mix the 10A with the 9A and have found it produces the perfect pale, ash blonde tone for my hair. Naturally I am between a 7A/8A. When using the 9A/10A I tone with the T18 toner to achieve the perfect results and find that for me it helps to abolish any brassy yellow tones, leaving me with a perfect, pale almost white, ashy blonde tone, that I have otherwise found difficult to achieve using other products. I find Sarah provides great customer service and I always receive my products promptly, within just days of completing my order. I would definitely recommend these products to anyone trying to achieve similar tones. Very satisfied. Thank you!
This product is amazing the colour is great so easy to apply and lasts I have had so many compliments and they don’t believe I’ve done it myself.
