Perfect for: Anyone who finds other toners don't fully neutralise (remove) orange or gold tones, and anyone chasing a silver-grey result on already very light or white hair.
Helps target: Stubborn orange and gold brassiness that other toners haven't touched.
Hair type: Works at any lighter level - from orange-toned through to very light blonde or white.
When nothing is cool enough.
The Wella Color Charm 050 Cooling Violet is a concentrated violet additive - mix it into your usual toner to push the result cooler, ashier, and further than you'd get on its own. A few capfuls into your mix is often enough to get the result that nothing else has managed.
Used alone with developer, it creates a silver-grey result.
A little goes a long way
Start with a few capfuls added to your toner and developer mixture, then process as normal. This one is concentrated. Tt's easy to go too far, so start small. Once you've found your amount, you'll know exactly what you need every time.Pairs with any toner in the range
Mix it with T14 or T18 for a stronger ash result. Mix it 50:50 with T81 for orange tones during a colour transition. Or use it alone for silver-grey. There's no single right way, that's the point. Results that last
Weeks, not days. Less time re-toning, more time loving your hair.Professional formula
The same Wella Color Charm formula that's long been a cult favourite in US salons, available in Australia. How to Use
As an additive: Add a few capfuls of 050 to your toner and developer mixture for an extra ash boost. Process as normal.
Standalone: Mix 050 with Wella Color Charm 20 Vol Developer in a 1:2 ratio (1 part toner, 2 parts developer). Apply to clean, damp hair and process for up to 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
This product must be mixed with developer to work. I recommend the matching Wella Color Charm 20 Vol Developer.
